Growing up in Winnipeg in the 1980s, Mark Anthony G. found inspiration in Triumph's Rik Emmett, whose versatility motivated him to learn classical guitar and explore diverse musical genres. Liona Boyd's delicate playing style also influenced Mark's approach to the instrument.
With an unwavering passion for music composition, collaborating with other artists and crafting guitar jam tracks, Mark's journey began in Winnipeg bars and the back of vans, where he honed his skills and experimented with unique soundscapes.
Returning in 2020 with renewed energy, Mark channeled the spirits of Santana and his early influences into his versatile solos, tackling country, rock, classical, and acoustic with equal finesse. Musicians in his circle have compared his current guitar playing to Paul Sidoti.
His music publishing company, Treblecorp Music, offers an extensive library for media production and guitar background tracks for aspiring guitarists.
Look out for Mark's upcoming performances with Phil and the Fall Dogs, coming soon!
